Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom
B2 visas
My fiance is from the UK and we were wondering how long it takes to get a B2 visa? Can we get married on a B2 visa? Also can my fiance apply for an adjustment of status while having a B2 visa? We want to be together as quickly as possible and we are hoping this will be our answer. Your reply will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You!

Re: B2 visas
If the sole purpose of obtaining the B2 is for marriage, then you cannot adjust her status as she will be violating the terms of the B2 (not a true visitor). You should look into the K-1.
Re: B2 visas
As a UK national she will not need a B2 visa to enter the US. If she enters the US on the visa waiver not with the intention to marry you but to visit and get to know the country. 60 days after her entry if the intention to marry forms, you might be able to adjust status in the US without going back to the UK.
It will be important to show at the time of the interview that you had a good faith intention to comply with US immigration laws at the time of your marriage.

Re: B2 visas
The B-2 visa is a tourist visa for travel only. It does not allow for work and is not the best visa for your purposes.
There are other better options such as the fiance visa and the spousal petition. You may email me for a consultation.
