If you want to obtain indefinite leave to remain on the basis of your marriage to a British citizen, you cannot do so immediately after the marriage. You first have to apply for leave to remain as a spouse, which will be valid for 2 years. Only after these 2 years and if the marriage is still subsisting, will you be able to apply for indefinite leave to remain via this route.

You may be able to apply for a permanent residence card under the EEA route after the expiry of your EEA residence card, which is the equivalent of indefinite leave to remain for EU citizens and their dependents, but this would depend on certain factors like how long your residence card was granted for and whether your EEA family member was active here in the UK i.e. working etc.
