Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

Hello

I am a NZer and my partner is Swedish. We have been turned down twice for an EEA2 visa in England as we can't prove a relationship. This is because we do not have utility bills as we live in a pub. We don't have a joint bank account we couldn't get one due to the economic climate and tight bank regulations.

My employer wrote a letter saying we didn't pay bills but money was deducted each month from our pay as an accommodation deduction to pay for rent/utilities ect.. this wasn't accepted.

We have lived at the same address together since Oct 2008. Should we apply again and send in all our bank statements from this period to show we've been at the same address?

What else can we do? Please help.

If your refusal was recent, then you may still be able to appeal it to the Immigration Tribunal. This may be a better choice, as it will not require lengthy applicatoins with the UK border agency.

In your case, it may well be worth trying it on appeal to the tribunal, before an immigration judge, where you can explain these things better. The tribunal is a free, so the hearing itself would not cost you anything.
