i was refused leave to remain in the uk,how do i go about retrieving a copy of my refusal letter from the home office

The best way to get a copy is to contact the UK Border Agency on their contact line and ask for a copy to be sent out. If they are not helpful in doing this, you can make a data protection request, which would entitle you to a complete copy of the file the UK Border agency hold on you. This request would cost you �10.
