Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

Am a student and i came here with indefinate leave coz my parents were asylum seeker but are now british citizens.i have not applied for a british passport coz i have not got the money yet and i lost my passport recently and i have no any other form of i.d and its hard to get a job now.is it possible for home office to get me a document that i can show to employer sand other authorities as proof of my stay until i apply for a passport because its not possible to get a passport for my country unless if i can travel back there they do not give replacments here anymore.

There is a definately something that can be done in your case. You could either request a letter/document confirming your status as a settled person in the UK, and/or you can request a travel document from the Home Office, which would permit you to return to your country and get a new passport.
