Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

I am on student visa now, which will expire on february '2011. I am doing my MBA now and my desertation will be finished on next June. I make approximately 20,000/ now by working part-time for an energy company. However, I need to show 32,000/- because I don't get any point for age. Now, my question is if I work full-time with the written permission from my college after finishing my desseration and face home office for Tier-1 (highly skilled), will the homeoffice accept my income proof?

Thanx for your help.

Regards,

Saiful Amin.

As a student, you are not allowed to work full-time, no matter whether the College gives you permission or not. You will be in breach of the immigration rules if you do work more than 20 hours a week.

For cases like yours, there is a special category, known as Tier 1 (Post-Study Work). This is an in-between category for students who want to stay here as highly skilled migrants (Tier 1).
