Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

I am traveling to srilanka to marry a srilaken woman she and her son will be comeing to the uk at a later date, she tells me online they need to get a sponsored family visa to leave srilanka, how do i sponser them what documents are needed , what do i have to do ? can it be done online?

Your wife and her son will need to apply for visas to come to the UK prior to travelling to the UK and will need to submit a number of supporting documents with this application.

Your wife will need to apply for a spouse visa which costs �810, and her son will need to apply as a dependent child accompanying a parent to settle, which also costs �810.

It is very important that the correct visas are applied for as this is a costly process and your wife will not be able to enter the UK without them.
