Legal Question in Immigration Law in United Kingdom

i am a young woman just turned 20. me and my family have been in this country for 13 years. a few years ago our visa ran out so we are here illegally now technically. my parents are very abusive and me and my younger sister are desperate to leave as soon as possible. i don't have a national insurance card or a passport. so leaving would be hard as i wouldnt be able to get a job. im in university at the moment and we are paying for my fees out of savings. if i leave home i would have to drop out as i wouldnt be able to pay for my fees because i dont have a passport so i couldnt get student loan. is there any thing i could do? any help out there for me if i left this hell hole? i don;t think i can take this any more. please please help

As you have spent the majority of your life here in the UK, you may be able to make an application for discretionary leave to remain here in the UK, which would give you 3 years leave.

However, I must stress that even if this application were successful, which would depend on the amount of supporting documentation you had, you would not be able to obtain a student loan and would not be entitled to any public funds. Therefore, if you wanted to leave your parents' home, you would need to be able to fund this yourself i.e. by working and accommodating yourself.
