hi i am actually asking on behalf of my partner. His problem is that while working for a large uk company for the past 5 years he has worked his way from the bottem into a management postition about 2 years ago he took a transfer to another location all was well in fine. in the past year where he has aired some grievences he found that he has made himself unwelcomed and unliked althought tis is not why anyone works of course. But in the last two years he has been unwell on 3 occasions one was a 24hour bug 2nd time was a viral infection and 3rd has been down to stress and depression due to situaitions at work. upon the 2nd occasion of illness he found that his boss publically slagged him off on a social networking site where 20 other staff menbers where friends of both...when my partner called this boss on the statement the retracked it removed him as a friend then put a public apoluigy up on his wall. since then this slander has affected my partner and his attention to work resulting in a investagetion against him which al staff including thoses in busiiness next and around this one known his business before he did... in the last 6 weeks my partner has been signed off due to everything coming to ahead.. friday he was ment to be paid but was told by his payroll thats his wages have been frozen due to and over payment last month and not compling with company protocal. the company hasnt sent out any pay slips to him while been signedoff. my question is to you in everything that i have told you does my partner have anything he can use t his avantage or anything that something should be done about. am not legially minded so i dontknow whats right and whats wrong as far as emplyment laws go

As this is a very specific problem, and there is more information needed on the exact circumstances, and what can be proven, it is advisable to go to a solicitor.
