What is TUPE in relation to contract of employments in the United Kingdom?

TUPE=Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment Regulations. It is a set of rules designed to cover the situation where employees transfer from one undertaking to another.

TUPE is known as an extremely difficult and recondite area of the law, if you have an issue with TUPE, I strongly recommend obtaining expert legal advice asap.
