Legal Question in Employment Law in United Kingdom

Hello and thanks for your time.

I'm greek, 25 years old, and have been working in the U.K. in various nurseries since 2008 and paying my tax normally. I am currently planning to relocate back to my country. I have been paying taxes every month (they were deducted from my monthly salary at every payment).

As I am not going to stay in the U.K, and as I am planning to live and receive my pension in Greece, I would like to ask these questions:

Firstly, are these years of work in the U.K. going to be recognised when its my time to receive my pension in Greece?

Secondly,is there any way that I can receive back those taxes before I return to my country?

I would really apreciate your help,as I contact the tax office but receive different answers each time and not sure what to do.

Regards

Ch.

I need much more information for a solid answer.

In general terms:

- you will probably receive an English pension for the years you worked in England

- at the end of 2011 (probably at the beginning of 2012) you will receive a tax calculation from the UK government, you will be taxed for the months you were working (and resident) in the UK. You might get a part refund, or an additional tax bill
