todayi was suspended from my job as a carer, acused by a collegue of treating a resident roughly an accusation i deny what is my next step

By law, there should be an internal grievance and disciplinary procedure for you to follow.
Either ask your manager, or check in your contract of employment. It will usually be necessary for you to go through any internal procedure first, before taking any other action.
