Legal Question in Real Estate Law in United Kingdom
mortgage law
Hi - bit random but me and a friend ''fell out'' about this one in a pub the other night.
If 2 people lived together and had a mortgage - 1 goes bankrupt and has a year in jail, the women becomes insolvent but manages to remortgage the property in just her name. Then her husband comes out of jail and lives in the property even though he was made bankrupt and it was part of the agreement of her remortgage in her name that he cannot live at the address...what would happen to a: the man and b: the women who is illegally letting her partner live at the address?

Re: mortgage law
My advice would be to stop going to the pub and take the pledge.
