Legal Question in Traffic Law in United Kingdom

Disqualification- Car driving ban.

Hi there. I was in a road accident in Dec 2004. I had my Driving license for roughly 1 year prior to the crash (Dec 03). When the trial eventually went to court in April 2006 i was banned from driving for 3years for drink driving, so i obtained a clean license for just over 2years. I was wondering if you could tell me if i would have to re-sit my test again when my ban is up in April 2009? Thanks.

Hi.

If the Court or the DVLA has cancelled or revoked your licence, u will have to do theory as well as road test all over again after obtaining a new provisional licence.
