blood lines

my mother was with her partner for 30years engaged for 10,never married in the will it states his blood children are not to recieve anything,who he has not had any dealings with for over 10years,untill 9 months ago when they came back into his life untill he passed away 2 months ago and are now contesting the will,of which he wtote 3 years ago,do they have a case?

I am afraid that this is one of those cases where they could-or indeed they could not. It will all depend on a detailed examination of the facts and why there was an intention to disinherit.
