My dad died 9yrs ago and i have never known if he left me anything to remember him by.

The answer must be for you to obtain a copy of any grant of representation to his estate issued which will have a copy of any will your father made attached. If he did not make a will you could well have an entitlement under his intestacy. we will be able to assist in obtaining a copy of the grant if required.
