Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in United Kingdom

Deceased beneficary

My fathers will makes all his children equal beneficaries, my sister recently died leaving a husband and 2 children. Who will be the beneficiary of my late sisters inheritance under the present unchanged conditions of the will.

Re: Deceased beneficary

Very often a will contains provisions that on the death of a beneficiary, that share of the estate will pass to the deceased beneficiaries children. However if this provision is not contained the gift to a deceased beneficiary will lapse that share of the estate will fall into residue for division by the residuary beneficiaries.
