if a will is changed and you are an executor of that will should you be informed of that change

It all depends upon when the will is changed. A will speaks from the date of death and so a testator may change his will at any time during his lifetime.would not be necessary to inform the executors as they are not appointed until the moment of death. On death all the testator's estate passes to the executor who will hold it on trust subject to the will. From that point changes can not be made accept under a family arrangement where all the beneficiaries agree.
