Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in United Kingdom
My father just died and his ex wife of 10 years is on the mortgage of his property. The property is only in his name. She only lived in property for 18 months has never since divorced back in 2001 paid anything to the mortgage. Does she have rights to this property.

Dear Sir / Madam,
On the death of your father, all his legal heirs including yourself, remain binding on the mortgage of his property. It is important to know whether your father remarried, after divorcing his first wife. The rights of the ex-wife would also largely depend on the judicial divorce pronouncement.
