my father was still married to my mother when he died. my mother had try to divorce him on grounds of adultry several times, but he refused. he left his estate to his long-term girlfriend. what right do me and my mother have?

It is probable that you your mother and possibly you would have a claim on your late father's estate under thge Inheritance(Provision for Family and Dependants)Act. However we would need to know considerably more detail before being able to advise conclusively.
