probate queries
How long does probate take to clear[no disputes between beneficiaries]and as matter of public record can it be easily checked. what are the causes that can delay this process. Obliged for any asistance or pointers

You may have heard mention of the executors year. This is however usually an excessive period other than where there are complications in the administration.
Records of grants of probate are kept at HM probate registry and may be easily checked free of charge by callers or otherwise for a small fee.
