Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in United Kingdom

Property

Hello there, my dad currently lives alone and owns his property with no mortgage. The property is willed to me when he dies and he is worried that if he is taken ill and put into a home or medical care he will have no control over the property and would like me to keep it whatever happens. He is worried that social services will take the property in order to pay for any medical care. What measures could we take to make sure the government doesn't get its hands on the property as he feels I would lose the property if any of this happened.

I look forward to hearing from you.

there are steps which can be taken which can help but not totally alleviate this problem. They will depend on a number of factors and it would probably be best for us to discuss the options. There will be no charge. if you would like to e-mail us with your contact details we will arrange to telephone you.
