Legal Question in Banking Law in United States
i got a cheque against an international transaction, i present that cheque in my bank ,my bank against that given me a provisional credit and after 21 days they made it confirmed credit and my bank has also given a certficate of the same to the RBI now after 2 years they said that the cheque is bounced and they crossed my entries in their books as thier was no condition at the time of the both the above credits. How can they change my entries in the od account. If they make a confirmation in 21 years so can they reserve it. and within how many days the dishonour of the cheque is to be intimate.

You gave your bank a bad check. That is your responsibility, and no matter what the time frame, you owe the bank the money.
cheques if they r bounced should be returned immediately. If the Bank has given credit for the same and later after confirmation, they returned after what you say after 2years they say it bounced, you can sue them for negligence.
