Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in United States
I live in Colorado and got a subpoena from CP Productions out of Chicago, the trial would be in Chicago and was wondering how I can go about getting a motion to quash.
This has to due with alleged illegally downloading of a copyrighted movie and I have until March 2011 to reply or my ISP provider will release my information to the company trying to sue.

This is not a civil rights issue first of all. You have to make a motion to quash it by following all the procedures in doing a notice of motion, etc.
I recommend getting an attorney.
You need to hire a Colorado Lawyer to see if the Subpoena and the service are served correctly according to law - either Federal or Colorado law. I have a feeling though that the subpoena is against your ISP and not you. In either case, to hope to get it quashed, you'll need a Colorado Lawyer and maybe an Illinois lawyer. I'm neither. google me.
I have heard of this group, they are trying to file a reverse class action. In my humble opinion, their actions are a little underhanded and I would highly suggest you find a good federal attorney in Colorado or Chicago to represent you.
