Legal Question in Immigration Law in United States

Is it possible for one on B2 visa to adjust to permanent resident. I am a us citizen. She arrived a month ago and I would like to get the ball rolling.

Yes, however you may want to review some materials on my site or arrange a free consultation with me to go over the details of the procedure first.

Details on the adjustment of status process can be found here:

Yes, I don't know where you are located, but if you want to retain a local attorney and you're in the Virginia, DC or Maryland areas please contact my office (703-270-9235). As immigration attorneys, we can generally accept clients from all over the U.S. but some prefer to stay local anyway.

My website is www.immigrationforvirginia.com.

Hi,

It is generally recommended to wait at least 60 days after entry on B2 visa to marry a U.S. citizen.

After marriage, all sponsorship paperwork can be filed concurrently. Your spouse will be able to continue to remain in the U.S. until she receives LPR (lawful permanent resident status) and thus you will not be separated from your spouse during the sponsorship process.
