Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in United States

I have been duped out of thousands of dollars for dental work that resulted in the loss of all of my front teeth. I filed a complaint with the Tennessee Dental Association Peer Review Committee who examined me and reviewed my file. Their conclusion was that I return to the original dentist for dentures, having the teeth remaining that have been destroyed by this same dentist removed AT MY COST! I originally went to the dentist for dentures, he talked me into a $10,000.00 full bridge, removed all of my long term and expensive bridges, caps and crowns, and the cost far exceeded the original estimate. I now have NO front teeth, pins built into cores to hold the bridgework on my once existing stable teeth, no back teeth as he removed and kept my gold bridges, and I can't and won't return to this man for any work whatsoever. What do you recommend and how long do I have to file a lawsuit against him?

In what state do you live? In what state was the dental work done? In what state does this dentist live now? Does he have any assets?
