on may 16th i believe sometime after midnight my daughters 2005 chevy colbolt was stolen from her mothers place in glenwood mn, at that time i was in st paul mn, waiting on a ride to emergency room for a blood clog in my right hand my daughter called me and told me her car was stolen i said no way well i think it was 2 days later someone found her car the police had a hold on her car for finger printing 3 days later i heard i was being accused of it so i called the glenwood police and had told them where i was that night plus faxed them over proof and now they saying everyone is a suspect i can barely make ends meet and to here these lies i love my family and have nothing on my file not even a speeding ticket the police told my daughter no to talk to me im all done talking to the police and if what i sent them is not good enough then i do not think its right for them to tell my daughter not to speak to mewe have been a family for 9 yrs i helped her raise her 2 children ages 31/2 and 1 yr can they make a person take the test

It is best that you do not speak with police without a lawyer present. If the police believe you to be a suspect at this point, further communication with police will not be in your best interests.

You cannot revent police from investigating the issue. they will also oftentimes make strong statements in order to seek inculpatory statements from you. You should always politely decline to speak with laaw enforcement when the investigation involves you.
