Possibly. It all depends on a lot more facts that you have not given here. I like to know a lot more about the circumstances of the event, where, when, how and what are the injuries you have suffered resulting from the fall and other questions.

Anyone can sue anybody for anything and many lawsuits are thrown out of court soon after they are filed. Your question then really is: Can I win if I sue and how much compensation can I get. Based on the little information provided no one can answer your questions. Not all benches must be bolted. What gave you the right to be at that bench? Were you properly sitting or were you standing on your head on the bench? Did you know the bench was not bolted? You do not even mention if you were injured. There are lots of facts and issues that an attorney needs to give you an educated expert opinion as to whether you have a case you may reasonably expect to win and whether you can be paid all or part of your reasonable damages if you win. No lawyer can guarantee you a win or any specific amount of compensation. That would be unethical. However, if a lawyer takes your case and agrees to be paid a percentage of what you get in compensation ("a contingency fee"), then you can be fairly convinced that the lawyer thinks you have a good chance of winning and getting enough money that it is worthwhile for the lawyer to take the case. Lawyers do not take contingency fee cases unless they think they are going to make enough money to take the case.
