Legal Question in Aviation Law in United States Virgin Islands

Past due Bonus

I worked in the U.S. Virgin Islands as the Director of Operations for a small airline. I had a written contract which promised a bonus, the company cited fiscal issues etc and never paid me the bonus that came to about a total of $8500. I consequently left that airline and almost two years on they are still refusing to pay anything, they give no reason at all, simply refuse. I have evidence that the airline is doing better, more aircraft etc etc.

I am planning on small claims court to get my money, how would you advise me to proceed?

Re: Past due Bonus

unless the company does business in Florida -- you will have to sue them in the Virgin Islands.
