Legal Question in Constitutional Law in United States Virgin Islands

Waiver of rights? (doctrine of laches)

If you have retained an atty and

have received the paperwork to file a

motion to 'revoke' your consent to

divorce, but have not signed,

notarized, and returned to atty

(nothing has been submitted to the

court); are you sitting on, delaying in

pursuing, or not exercising your

rights? Could this be a waiver to

cancel or deny your application for

relief (based on atty)?

Sounds like it can be. "Sitting on" isn't meant literally.
