Power of Attorney rules
If I live in Colorado and need a power of attorney to clear up matters in Utah, which state do I file it in?

Powers of attorney are limited by state jurisdiction, unless specified in the power. You can create a power in Co and forward it to your Utah agent for use. It will need to be notarized to have any effect.
