Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Utah
Case appeal
I was in a car accident when I was 16. I was driving my friend's car and the owner of the other vehicle sued me. The judge settled with the plaintiff for $10,000. I was just wondering if this settlement is correct seeing that I was underage at the time. I haven't heard anything about the payments and it's been almost 2 years.

There are not enough facts to answer your question, however, if you or your parents had insurance, then the insurance company would have paid the judgment.
