Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in Utah
Name removal
I am currently involved in a samll claims case in Murray Justice court. A judgement has been made, but it will be appealed by either the plaintiff or defendant. My name is down along with my husband as plaintiff. If this does go to appeal in the 3rd district court, can I have my name removed from the case as one of the plaintiffs?

Re: Name removal
Yes. Have your husband note on the appeal that he is the only one appealing. However, if you lose, then you will want to appeal, or the judgment will lodge against you.
