Legal Question in Banking Law in Utah
cosigner
My wife and i bought a car together, myself being a cosigner, her being the main borrower. We got a divorce and she wont tkae the car out of my name and is missing payments and destroying my credit. Is there anything i can do legally to force her to get my name out?

Re: cosigner
If the terms of the divorce required her to pay and/or refinance the loan, you can file a motion to have her held in contempt of court. The judge will make her pay - and will probably give you your attorney fees.
