Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Utah
bankruptcy Chapter 11
If a bankruptcy is over 20 years old is the record considered sealed or expunged? On a questionnaire if asked the question have you filed bankruptcy can you answer ''no'' if the heading sentence says if the record is sealed or expunged you can answer no.

Bankruptcy's can be reported to the credit bureau up to 10 years after discharge. The court records remain forever. Only crimes are expunged.
