Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Utah
bankruptcy and foreclosure
due to a divorce, which is not yet final, i had to file a chapter 7 bankruptcy in april, 2005. my bankruptcy was discharged in august, 2005 but has not been closed due to issues with some of my property that i had to purchase back from the trustee. my home is now in foreclosure and i may need to file a chapter 13 bankruptcy in order to keep it, which i want to do. can i file again? also, they are saying i need to pay the foreclosure fees but since the debt was alread discharged in my chapter 7 bankruptcy, how can they make me pay the foreclosure costs?

Re: bankruptcy and foreclosure
Talk to your bankruptcy attorney. You may be able to reopen and convert to a Chapter 13.
