Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Utah
I filled chapter 7 and I surrendered my condo. HOA is trying to collect fees from me including lien fee. Is this legal? Also the collection lawyer is charging $1000 fee. It sounds outrageous, can I contest this?

If you listed the HOA fees in your bankruptcy you are not liable. If you did not list, you may still be able to list them now. Talk to your bankruptcy attorney.
