Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Utah

Income-debts

I have consulted with an attorney for the past few days about filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. I work part-time and we figured it out on that fact. I have $1000 in debt per month, and right now part-time I make about $1600 per month. I was just told that I will be upgraded to full-time status making more money starting next week? My income before taxes will be about $2800? Is this going to get my case dismissed? Thanks.

Re: Income-debts

You should discuss your case with your attorney. With the increase in money you may be able to avoid bankruptcy, which, if possible, would be wise. If you stay in bankruptcy it may convert your case to a Chapter 13, which would pay your creditors at least a percentage of the debt you owe.
