Second mortgage/bankruptcy
If the second mortage was for credit card debt can it be included in the bankruptcy and not jepordize your home

The second is secured by the equity in your home, it does not matter what the money was used for. Because the loan is secured, the lender has a lien against the home which will survive bankruptcy to the extent that the home has enough equity to pay the first and second mortgages in that order.
