Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Utah
personal loan/bankrupcy
Borrowed money 5 yrs ago from recently fired agent. 3 yrs ago I filed bankrupcy and included borrowed money(15,000) in bankrupcy. Agent recieved notification of this. Since then no money has been paid to him. He has sent emails asking for money, I responded can't help you at this time. By doing so did I reclaim the debt or does the bankrupcy still stand? I never resigned a contract for the borrowed money since bankrupcy. Thanks for your time.

Re: personal loan/bankrupcy
If you have not expressly reaffirmed the debt, you are not responsible to repay it - if it was discharged. Remind the agent you filed bankruptcy and tell him he is screwed.
