Can I be denied employment because of my bankruptcy? Will I be able to be bonded for my notary or bonded to work for a bank after filing for bankruptcy?

Re: post bankruptcy employment
You can be denied employment based on your credit record, including the bankruptcy. This is especially relevant if you are seeking employment in a position which handles money or credit for others. Generally employers are understanding about bankruptcy if you have a "reason" while you filed - such as if you were very ill and off work, which caused extraordinary medical expenses.
You can still be bonded and/or work for a bank, but it is a matter which is in the discretion of the bonding company and/or the bank.
