Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
Can the adult children take a family business from under their parents who are elderly and not running the business very well?

There are ots of "ifs" and Depends" involved. What kind of business is it, and how is it structured. How do the parents feel about transferring the business? Do they have a succession plan in place (I assume not or the question would not arise)? I would need a lot more information before I could answer the question. Call me if you can.
