black mail?????
My friend Stephanie recently just posted a question on your site. And asked if we were to erase the ordering program, if my boss could sue me. The reply was yes. My question is..... today in the mail I received a letter from my former employer, at least I think so. The envelope only had my name, no return address and the letter was neither signed nor dated. It told me that the damages were near $6000.000, that I could face felony charges and be arrested, that investigators were analyzing the finger prints on the computer keyboard. And that if the ''perpetrators'' didn't come forward, things could escalate. My question is why would he send a letter that was so obviously from him, without proof that it was him? Is it black mail? Do I approach him to try to make amends? or would I be incriminating myself? He threatened me that he would only pay me minimum wage because I didn't give him 2 weeks notice, is that black mail. I want to clear my conscience, but I don't want to walk into a trap. Please help!
