Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
Business problems
my husband had sold carpet for his uncles flooring store in feb. and got 10% commission of the sale and now the contractor that my husband brought in doesn't want the carpet so they sent the carpet back and used the money for the carpet for tile and countertops instead and now his uncle's wife is calling asking for the commission back well his aunt is saying if he doesn't bring in a 1300 check she is going to go down and take some legal action on my husband... i don't think it's right what they are doing but am not sure what to say to them because i don't think they get the commission back...am i wrong?

Re: Business problems
It depends on the terms of the agreement between your husband and his uncle. If there no written agreement and there is a dispute then either they come to some agreement, or the uncle will have to sue.
