Buying a used car

I bought a used car and before I bought it I told them I wanted the check Engine light to be check out as why it was on they agreed they took it in and said that they got it fixed a day later the light was back on so I caled and told them and they said bring it in we will fix it I picked it up later that day and the light was off well a few blocks away it came back on I took it back to them and told them I want it fixed again they took it in they called be and told me that the O2 sencores were off and needed to be replace and said I need to pay for them to get fixed am I liable to pay to have it fixed when I havent even had the car for a month

You probably did not get anything in writing from the seller, and therefore your only recourse will be to file suit against them to force them to either take the car back or repair it. Under your oral agreement, it is their responsibility to get the car fixed. Take the car yourself to a reputable mechanic and get the price for repair. That is the amount you will have to sue them for in court - probably small claims court, which you can do your self.
