He has had an average of 10 vehicles there for the last 3 mnths. He has always been slow paying (2 or 3 pmnts over a week or two). when asked too pay $550. still oweing from last month, plus $48. cause he called and wanted to pick up a boat on sunday the 8th,(6*8=48) total of $598, he flipped out! ''you wanna f--- with me, I.....'' and hung up. I called back and ''don't f--- with me, you wont be repoing for anyone...'' What do I do? I still have his vehicles and the bill is growing. Send certified return receipt notice to the owner and any lienholders you are aware of, that you are selling the vehicles at public sale for the storage costs. Or use the mechanic's lien process to get a mechanic's lien title and then sell them. You may want to contact the police if you believe that he has threatened you or that you may be at risk. The police can check to see if the guy has a history of violence. You may even want to get a restraining order against him. These are of questionable value if he is totally psycho, but can help if he shows up and is out of control. At least he will know that you are serious.
