I am creating an LLC for the purpose of selling MLM products and also products I will create and sell. When I create this business entity, do I need to disclose it is for MLM marketing? Are there downsides, risks to not disclosing I'm selling MLM product?

If you are setting the LLC up in Utah, the statute allows you to state the business purpose as "any business allowed by law," or anything similar. Call me if you have questions.
