Deposit on rings
I have a customer that gave me a deposit to make 2000 rings and 6 weeks into the project the canceled and wanted there money back

You did not ask a question. But I am guessing you want to know what your rights are. If you had a written agreement, those terms apply. If you did not have a written agreement you can charge the customer for all of your out of pocket expenses which you cannot recoup from reselling or returning the materials you had to order. You may also be entitled to your lost profits.
