What is the difference for a not-for-profit corporation, between a Board of Directors and a Board of Trustees?

Re: Directors and Trustees
In a not for profit corporation the trustees do not take compensation. For profit corporations can pay their boards of directors, although are not required to do so. Otherwise the function is similar, the trustees advise the corporation on the best way to accomplish their mission.
