Legal Question in Business Law in Utah
False Information
I have been charged for a product on my debit card for an online service. I accepted a trial offer of the product and after 14 days I was to be charged $59. The Terms and Agreement statement says I may call and cancel AT ANYTIME however when I called late on a Friday evening and then again on Saturday, I got a voice recording because the office is closed, only open 8am-5pm MT, Monday through Friday. Now, technically it has still only been 13 days and some odd hours, but my card has been charged AND there was no way for me to get in touch with them for an entire weekend. Is there anything I can do???

Re: False Information
Call them Monday morning and report what you attempted. Usually when a cut off day falls on a weekend, the cutoff period extends to the following Monday. Read their contract.
